EDMAT, abbreviations for Engineering Development, Motivation And Awareness Training . It is a motivation camp organized annually by Engineering Society of University of Malaya (PKUM). The camp will be held for 7 days which involves all the undergraduates from universities in LOCAL AND OVERSEAS.
This is the 36th year of EDMAT. This year, EDMAT is collaborating with The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) to organise a professional engineering camps to all the participants from all over the world. We hope that more and more people will support and join us as participant, in order to explore more about engineering, other than academic stuff.
EDMAT's theme this year is "Mastering Life's Vector". Vector is a commonly known mathemaical term that describes where and how things move. The concept of "life's vector" is that, EDMAT wants to help paricipants realize where to look at when pursuing a professional occupation as an undergraduate and how to equip oneself with the correct sets of skills and values o be prepared to enter the vast and rapidly growing society. As so, the theme "Mastering Life's Vector" can be summarized as a perceiving one self's potential and preparation needed to bring out the full potential of an individual.
